The pretty ridges provided by Fruité bottles lend themselves perfectly to making these textured pots that go from outdoors to indoors.
With the help of a precision knife, cut the upper section off each bottle (to be recycled into a hanging miniature garden), in order to make three pots of varying heights.
Apply acrylic paint to the outside of each pot using a small paint brush. Let dry. Apply a second coat if needed (follow paint instructions).
Make drainage holes under the pots using a precision knife or drill.
Fill pots with potting soil about three-quarters full.
Dig a shallow hole with your fingers, and place plant. Cover roots with a little soil, then water.
Surround plant with a thin layer of decorative stones.
